At some stage over the weekend, some delightfull dimwit at a shopping centre decided it would be a good idea to smash the Tailgate Handle off the back of the Mrs' Freelander!!
Does anyone know of anyone who is wrecking a Freely or has got a handle that they just don't know what to do with??
P L E A S E ......
O yeah, its a five door, so has to have the switch for the window release.......
Thank you,

I have some various handle related bits, but the outside plastic bit is broken, so my guess is no good for your needs.
I do work down the road from Allford at Braeside and could drop in to see what they have and if it is any good (typical wrecker, good and excellent condition seem to have different meaning to them than us mortals). _________________ “The man who removes a mountain begins by carrying away small stones" Chinese Proverb

G'day Stephen,
Yeah, it's the housing that is the issue. The guts of it all still works fine. I did try Allford a little while back and they said (quite confidently) nup, so no need to worry about dropping in there. Thank you though. I do agree that a wreckers definition of 'good and excellent' seem to differ some what from our definition thats for sure. It is a clean break on the housing I could probably get very scientific and use some epoxy or the like???
Thanks again Stephen,
Cheers,
Mark.H

I'm not sure what the guys at Allford actually want to sell, they seem to have a yard that is 1/3 full of Freebies but don't seem to have parts in more recent times.
Got a CV: Yes (worn out), No (servicable)
Got a antenna: No
Got a starter motor: Yes (on the phone), No (across the counter), Yes (when pushed).
Got any 17inch wheels: No
Want any 17inch wheels: No, we have plenty.
