Here are a couple of pics.

Unfortunately there was a bit of a set back today. I took it for its first drive around the block and noticed that the oil pressure was unusually low. It was only about 18psi. I have now pulled the oil pump off and although everything looks ok I will get Fred to have a look and will probably just replace the gears and the pressure valve. Hopefully that is all it is!

I finally got the cab back fom the spray painter today. I know it has been forever getting it done but I have been too busy on holidays. Razz

Still have a heap of stuff to put back on and finish building the tray and painting it but here is a sneak peak.

Still got a fair bit to do on it, but maybe a couple of months.

What did you do to fix the link? I have just spent 1/2 hour trying to work out what to do. Still trying to work out how to add the photo directly to the page.

Here is an update on the Rangie. Almost finished, just a few more little things to do.

T U F F ! ! !
Looks the goods!

What are your thoughts on bringing the tray down vertical instead of 45deg and bobbing that last half a metre??

Yes, I did think about doing that but I think shortening the chassis on the Rangie makes it look out of proportion, the tray just looks too short. On a defender or 109" it would be perfect but with the 100" wheelbase IMO it doesnt look right. The tray is short enough as it is.

I am going to get a custom box made up for the rear section so hopefully it will look a bit more "finished" then.

yeah sounds good, i guess its just how it looks at the moment, once the space is filled it will suit it alot better. Top work on it though! Whats left till it hits the tracks??

At the moment it has a horrible front end wobble at about 80km/h so I have to get that sorted and then it can go to the engineer for final inspection.
