The LROCV offers its services to the wider community through supporting a major fundraising event for the Red Cross. This event is a canoe race conducted over five days travelling from Yarrawonga to Swan Hill, paddling a distance of 404km. It involves up to 1000 paddlers, their support crews and a team of volunteers. LROCV has been involved for over thirty years providing a team known as Land Patrol.
